1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an order, or using a report, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement. Provide accurate information, maintain one secure account for your authorized use, protect credentials, and notify support promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
3. Service Description
Get Identify provides independent photo-based product authentication and verification assessments for categories and methods offered at the time of order. Business services may also be governed by a separate written contract; the signed contract controls if it expressly conflicts with these terms.
4. Order Formation
Website descriptions invite customers to submit an order. An order is accepted when the required information and evidence are received, payment is confirmed through the payment provider, and the order enters the review workflow. We may reject or cancel an order that is unsupported, unlawful, duplicated, technically invalid, or outside service scope.
5. Evidence Requirements
You must have the right to submit every image and document. Evidence must relate to the identified item and must not be manipulated, misleading, harmful, unlawful, or designed to conceal relevant characteristics. Review quality depends on complete, clear, accurate submissions.
6. Additional Photo Requests
A reviewer may request specific additional photographs when available evidence is insufficient. The current standard service permits one additional-photo request without another service fee. Failure to respond or inadequate evidence may delay review or result in an Inconclusive outcome.
7. Review Timing
Published timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Timing may change because of evidence quality, additional-photo requests, category complexity, service volume, security review, holidays, outages, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
8. Authentication Outcomes
Possible outcomes are Authentic, Not Authentic, and Inconclusive. Each outcome reflects only the submitted item information and evidence evaluated under the method applied at that time. It is not manufacturer certification, physical laboratory testing, or an unconditional guarantee.
9. Pricing and Payment
The applicable price, currency, and service are displayed before payment. Payment is processed by the selected provider. A browser success page does not independently confirm payment; server-verified payment status controls. Taxes or business-contract charges may apply where stated.
10. Digital Reports and Verification
A report applies only to the item and evidence reviewed. Reports may be shared for lawful purposes but may not be modified, forged, transferred to another item, resold as a separate certification, or used to imply manufacturer approval. Public verification displays limited report information and does not expose original evidence or customer payment data.
11. Acceptable Use
Do not interfere with security, scrape or overload the service, access another account, upload malicious material, reverse engineer protected functions, evade limits, submit counterfeit evidence as genuine, harass personnel, or use the service for fraud, unlawful trade, or deceptive claims.
12. Intellectual Property
The website, service design, software, workflows, original content, and Get Identify branding are owned by or licensed to the company. You retain rights you hold in submitted evidence and grant the company permission to process it as necessary to provide, secure, support, and document the requested service.
13. Independent Service and Brand References
Get Identify is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by reviewed product brands unless expressly stated. Brand names may be used only to identify products and describe the subject of an independent review.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or close access when reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, payment disputes, repeated policy violations, or protection of customers and the service. We will consider applicable legal obligations and any available customer remedies.
15. Disclaimers
The service is provided using available evidence and professional judgment. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, a particular resale value, recovery from fraud, or acceptance of a report by any marketplace, brand, insurer, payment provider, court, or other third party.
16. Liability Limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Get Identify is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from reliance on incomplete or misleading evidence, third-party decisions, marketplace transactions, or unauthorized report use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
17. Mandatory Consumer Rights
These terms do not exclude warranties, remedies, cancellation rights, privacy rights, or other protections that applicable law does not permit parties to waive.
18. Changes, Governing Terms, and Contact
We may update these terms prospectively when the service or applicable requirements change. The version in effect when an order is accepted generally governs that order, except where law or a separately signed agreement requires otherwise. These terms are interpreted under applicable United States and Delaware law without overriding mandatory rights that apply based on customer location.
